Select Field brings together a nimble team of developers, designers, strategists & creative thinkers. We are all firm believers that collaboration & variety enrich our studio lives. We enjoy nothing more than drawing on the pool of talent from the Newtown co-working space we run, which we share with copywriters, film makers, musicians, illustrators, animators and producers.

Ulysses Oliver / Director & Developer

Ulysses is a founding director of Select Field and has over 20 years experience in developing web enabled applications, is a film producer and runs the Sandfly short film festival. He has managed complex development projects with large teams both in Australia and Internationally and has a proven record of accomplishment in delivering successful multimedia solutions. Ulysses is a Sun Certified java developer and is an expert problem solver, before joining forces to start Select Field, Ulysses ran his own multimedia production house specialising in film production, content creation and website development for small businesses.

CC Williams / Design & Communications

CC is a multidisciplinary designer and communications manager with over fifteen years of experience with the design of environmental graphics, websites, and multimedia productions. Her aim with any type of design is to achieve a combination of function, user-friendliness and beauty with minimum fuss.

 

CC teaches architecture and design at the University of Technology and recently finished a Doctorate in Design through a joint program run between the University of Sydney and the Technical University Berlin. She has a particular interest in the spatial role of graphic and communicative surfaces in the architectural and urban environment. 

Steve West / Developer

Steve has worked across Select Field’s largest development project, Tennis Insight, a 10,000+ active member community and is an expert in PHP/MySQL and WordPress. He has a keen interest in gaming, music, basketball and beer, while fast becoming a guru in other programming languages and back-end frameworks.
